Super Car : Ford GT 2005

One of the most inspiring and famous cars from the Ford Auto manufacturers, Ford GT was a real on road performer. The car was produced in the years 2004 and 2005 in limited numbers. Till date Ford GT is a stiff competition for the legendary car makers like Porsche and Ferrari. This fabulous performer is the most forceful and smooth looking car which has earned to its name first three positions in the eminent Le Mans race amazingly for four consecutive years in a row from the years ’66 to ’69. This could be one of the reasons why car lovers refer it as the ‘American Muscle Car’ and just not a sports car as the car stands for genuine American -hard work and muscles. Ford GT is quite similar in features to the 1960′s Ford GT40, but it is bigger, wider and taller comparatively in terms of dimensions. The car has been selling at fancy prices as its demand outpaced the supply, but still the price is arbitrarily fixed for the regular car buyers. The car’s mind-blowing curvy contours and fantastic speed along with the superb aerodynamics made it an amazing technological wonder. This super performing car had a previous standing mile record of 223 mph which was successfully out beaten by another Ford GT that hit a top speed of 257.7 mph in one mile. This speed guzzling curvy beauty had many features that are unique, like the stiff aluminum chassis, plastic formed aluminum panels, a cap less fuel filler system, one piece door panels, roll bonded panels for the floor and carbon fiber inner panel.
